Botox

Botox or botulinum toxin is a powerful neurotoxin. It has been officially licensed in Germany for the treatment of spasticity in muscles and reduction of muscle strength since the 1990s. Since then it has also been used to reduce wrinkles by reducing the activity of the facial muscles. In addition, it can be used to slim the face when applied to the chewing muscles.

Botox is applied minimally invasive by injecting it through the finest cannulas. The treatment only takes a few minutes. The effect occurs after a few days. We only use very high-quality products, so the effect usually lasts for 3-6 months.

In addition to the aesthetic indication, Botox can also be used for migraines or severe pain in the jaw joints. In exceptional cases, the health insurance company can cover part of the costs.
