Removal of facial skin lesions

Skin lesions are generally treated by physicians of various disciplines. Facial skin lesions, however, should only be removed by specialists who perform facial surgery on a regular basis and have extensive knowledge of aesthetically satisfactory scarring in the facial region. If incisions are made along the natural skin tension lines in the patient’s face, even larger skin portions can be removed without causing any conspicuous scarring or facial disfigurement. Laser therapy is another viable treatment option.
